Welcome to the Minecraft Server Status Checker!
Need to check if a Minecraft server is online? Use our free Minecraft Server Status Checker to check a server's online or offline status using its IP address and port. Whether you're troubleshooting a connection problem or checking a multiplayer server before joining, MCServerTime makes it easy to check Minecraft server status.
How to Use
To use the Minecraft Server Status Checker and answer questions like "Why aren't Minecraft servers working?" and "Is Minecraft doing maintenance right now?" follow these simple steps:
Enter the Minecraft server IP address or hostname and port into the checker above, then click Submit. MCServerTime will attempt to contact the server and report its status.
A server may appear offline because it is stopped, restarting, under maintenance, or temporarily unreachable. An incorrect IP address, port, firewall configuration or network issue can also prevent a successful status check.
The default Minecraft Java Edition server port is 25565. If your server uses a custom port, enter that port instead. Minecraft Bedrock Edition commonly uses UDP port 19132 and may require a separate compatible checker.
A server can respond to a status check but still reject a player connection. Check that your Minecraft version is compatible, the server address is correct, and any whitelist or authentication requirements are satisfied.
Yes. Enter the server IP address or hostname in the Server IP address field. Enter the correct port, then click Submit to check whether the server responds.
Use the free Minecraft Server Status Checker above to test your server connection details before trying to join.
